Mom and Dad in to help

Mom and Dad flew in for the weekend to help on the house. We had a lot of fun and they had an opportunity to get up close and personal with the house. You'll be sore in the morning! Miss you guys already!

Naked walls

It is cooollldddd. The drywall is up and we are kickin major A! Big changes now. The windows are NEVER ending though and I think we were sick of them six months ago.

and so on, and on, and on, and on

We had a great weekend painting, scraping, blah, blah, blah. Anne and Jeff and Ali, and Bella all came over to help. The girls were hilarious, like usual. If you don't keep an eye out for them, they'll hop up on the pillar and eat your salt-n-vinegar chips....or bring you a complete, undamaged, package of croissants. The neighbor dog Ginger came over to play too, she is a Carolina Hound. What fun!

No one else cares about this, but I think it is cool...

Crazy weather again - huge ice storm

We got a ton of rain last night that froze to everything. Reminds me a little of Michigan. Except that it was 50 degrees by noon and then it started rain chunks of ice from all of the trees.

Cedar Shake Eaves Hurray!

The eaves are done! It looks great in person, I don't think the pictures do it justice. We worked on windows all weekend, again....
