Rainy Day ride in the Honey Hole

The Sunday after the Brewgrass Festival we met up with some friends and took a ride through the Honey Hole. I've posted some pictures of this location before, but I was always riding in my stock truck. Shawn and Hastie were in the Defender, Jeremiah and Liz in the Discovery, Dale and Ester in the 4Runner, and Tiffany and I in our Discovery. It is been really wet here, so it was a bit challenging. I backed into a large rock (that I knew was there!) and jarred my QT differential guard. So, I guess it is nice to have protection there! We had a great time and got a little off-roading fix for a bit...

Brewgrass - 2009

Greg and Shawn and Hastie came into town again this month for the Brewgrass Festival. It is so much fun! It takes place on a baseball field and there is Bluegrass music all day long surrounded by beer tents all the way around the outfield. Tiff and I went last year and definately want to make it a yearly festvial. Our friends Kelly and Andy own Appalachain Craft Brewery and they had a booth there and a long line. They are going to be the beer tent provider this coming St. Patrick's Festival in Hendersonville also. Good times!

Deck & Dog

We had a great party on Saturday night. It was so fun that I forgot to take my usual photos. Greg and Melanie drove in along with Shawn. Michael Ian even flew in from Houston. We had a good mix of friends and a few K-9s. We actually hung out on the deck the entire time. It was fun breaking the deck in, especially with good friends.
