We took a trip to Charlotte this weekend to visit Shawn and Hastie. They took us to the Carolina Renaissance Festival. Weird costumes...check, giant grilled turkey legs...check, plastic cups of beer...check! We had blast and it was definitely fun people watching. There were some crazy folks there for sure! I have a feeling that we will be back again next year.We hung out at the festival for awhile gawking at elephants, giant tree people, etc. On the way out to the parking lot there was a Mini Cooper with a wind-up key on the back...pretty neat really.
Back at Shawn and Hastie's we chilled out by the fire pit and told stories and such. It is very relaxing out at their place.
